It's not often that I share full project reveals on the blog, but this is about to change! After finally getting a few projects photographed, I can now share some of these beauties with you. First Up: A Vibrant Bohemian Escape.
This project was such a joy to work on, as the client had a vibrant, inviting personality. I wanted to ensure this was reflected in her design. She entertains friends and family often. Two sophisticated recliners were a must in this space.
We painted the walls with a fresh coat of light gray paint. The foundational color was blue with pops of yellow, cream and fuschia. You can never have too much storage and this beautiful hammered metal coffee table helped give our client a little extra room. The lid comes off allowing for plenty of storage for blankets and extra pillows.
Art is by far one of the biggest design element clients typically get wrong on their own. It's all about selecting art that has a great subject matter, is appropriately scaled for the room and is well framed.
This artwork not only captured the spirit of the client but the layered colors throughout the room.
Lastly, we topped the space off with unique accessories both from the client's existing stash, like this stunning Jane Austin Book Collection, and new items like cacti blooms, woven baskets and pottery.
The best part of my job is watching a client's face when they first see their space. For most, it's hard to envision the design on paper, so once the reveal day is here, live and in action, their expressions are priceless. I'm honored to have had the opportunity to transform this space into a vibrant bohemian escape befitting of the client's genuine, kind personality!
