Around the World: Architecture

World Architecture
Architecture- "The art or science of building; specifically: the art or practice of designing and building structures and especially habitable ones." Webster Dictionary. Throughout the ages architecture has transformed and evolved. Each culture/country has crafted their own techniques, materials and esthetics for their particular region of the world. Though I'm a fan of current clean and crisp modern architecture, I have a real appreciation for the more traditional and humble roots of design.
In today's post I want to highlight traditional architecture from around the world. If you look close enough you can find hints of old world techniques applied to current architecture. In my opinion the best design has soul, it pulls from tride-and-true building techniques and details, while still pushing the innovation envelope!
