SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING INTERN

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

Thurman Design Studio is an interior design firm located in Thompsons Station, just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. We need someone who is hard working, creative, and very savvy with social media and marketing.

 

Our design blog, news letters and social media channels need maintaining and content creation such as: blog concepts, original video footage, photography and creating graphics to market the blog. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

 

- Fully proficient in Canva 

- Fully proficient in Planoly (or similar social scheduling platforms)

- Understanding of the the LTK (Rewards Style Platform) is a huge PLUS!

- Fully proficient in all Social Media outlets - our biggest are Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.

- IPhone videography skills

- If you know Wix Web platform, that would be awesome but is not required!

- Knowledge of Monday.com platform preferred but not required. 

- Tons of creative ideas and, positive energy.

- Local candidates (or those staying in TN for the Summer) only. 

 

We need someone who's willing to jump in and bring their creative ideas to the table! Do you love content creation and the research behind creating blog posts? Are you a hashtag junkie and know all the tips to having a successful Tiktok page? Then we would love to hear form you. You don't need to be an interior designer but you must have an interest in the home space. 

 

Bring what you have learned in and or outside of school and help grow the firms social presence! Remember this is a smaller firm so your ideas WILL be heard and implemented.

In turn, you'll build your portfolio and gain experience. We are willing to work with your schedule and require at least 2 full working days a week. 

 

Must be okay with house environment. Though we are laid back firm who works hard and still has fun, you MUST have a PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE & WORK ETIQUETTE!!
