Custom Interior Design
Great design takes skill, experience and working with talented craftsmen to make a vision come to life. We love partnering with our clients to make a sometimes complex process as rewarding and smooth as possible.
Our clients deserve quality, custom design fit to meet their budget, design aesthetics and personal interests. Thurman Design Studio will take care of your design needs, from initial concept to final installation, including construction, renovations, furniture and decor. We serve both local and out-of-state clients.

Builders, Developers, Investors
TDS works with several developers and builders, both residential and commercial. It's our goal to build lasting partnerships and create a design unique to your brand and project goals.
We've established relationships with a variety of trusted vendors. Our process is smooth and well-documented. In the end you'll have a concise selections package with all specifications for the project. We also design and furnish rental/investment properties such as Airbnb & VRBO.

VIDEO DESIGN SESSION
If you're considering tackling a design project, or are currently in the throws of one and would like professional guidance then book a 1 hour video consult with Laura Thurman.
Great design is not only time consuming but also stressful. Avoid costly mistakes and get inspired to tackle your project head on.
- Fee is $1,000 for up to 1 hour. Payment is due in advance
- We'll email you a link to your client portal, which includes a Zoom meet
- Prepare by uploading as much or as little information as you want regarding your project ie: floor plans, pictures, room dimensions, etc.
- Have a note book ready, as Laura will be sharing her professional advice to help you get unstuck and propel your DIY project forward!
PAINT CONSULTATION
With more than enough color inspiration to go around, it can be hard narrowing down the right shade and hue. Let our team help select the perfect color palette for your space and set the right mood.
- Fee is $1,500 for up to 1,5 hours. Payment is due in advance
- We'll narrow down and select all necessary colors for your house
- We'll leave paint chips so you can visualize them in different light
- An Itemized Paint Sheet will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours
- Once we receive your request we'll be in touch within 24-48 hours
STYLING & ACCESSORIZING
Great design is all in the details! Do you have existing or new furniture you'd like reworked in your space via styling; art, rugs, drapery, and accessories? This is designed to be a 1-2 day session. Polish your space off for that designer touch.
- Fee is $4,000. Product budget is not included
- We come for 1 hour to gather photos and walk through the space
- We'll order all accents needed, and or purchase locally
- We'll return in 1-3 days to install and style your space
- Once we receive your request we'll be in touch within 24-48 hours
